Job Summary
Develop and implement problem-solving tools to drive out all losses within the plant across Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations. Manage site productivity projects to deliver five-year goals and institutionalize Standardized Work, Problem-Solving, and Pull Systems. Train and coach problem-solving processes at all plant levels, spending significant daily time on the production floor. Develop capability in others regarding a zero loss mindset and own plant loss KPI tracking and reporting standards. This role supports Dessert Holdings' mission to create the world's best desserts through rapid growth and best-in-class service across nine manufacturing facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field such as Maintenance Management
- Must have past plant level project management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Sound understanding of and a minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques and plant operations experience is preferred
- Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt preferred
- Experience and Training of plant operating systems at all levels within a manufacturing plant
- Ability to build positive relationships at all levels within the organization and comfortable coaching up to senior leaders
- Experience with implantation of standardization of plant data collection systems and reporting
