Job Summary
Continuous Improvement and Inventory Control Intern at a Menomonie, WI plant. Responsibilities include supporting lean initiatives (value stream mapping, process flow improvements, waste reduction), tracking KPIs, organizing workshops and training to foster a continuous improvement culture, assisting in maintaining accurate inventory records with regular counts and data reconciliation, monitoring stock levels and aiding in ordering to maintain optimal inventory, identifying inefficiencies in inventory control processes, assisting in forecasting and replenishment, and supporting implementation of inventory control software. Requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced preferred), and the ability to work independently and in a team. Opportunities for mentorship and potential full-time employment after the internship.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
