Interpret calls remotely between English and Chuukese, adhering to the interpreter’s code of conduct. Be familiar with industry-specific terminology (healthcare/medical). Participate in internal professional training and report to the team leader. Requires strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills, plus the ability to maintain high emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance. Immediate availability after onboarding for a fully remote, scheduled role with both full-time and part-time options.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years interpreting experience (Desirable)
- Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and Chuukese
- High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures
- High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
