Job Summary
Confer with facility managers to coordinate activities, inspect sporting equipment, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain standards of play by signaling infractions, teaching rink rules, and regulating the skating experience. Keep track of event times and sessions while offering professional, friendly service to participants. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays under pressure in a fast-paced environment, utilizing precise knowledge of event activities and experience inclusions.
Required Qualifications
- Hockey or figure skating experience
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Display precise knowledge of all event activities and experience inclusions
- Available evenings, weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Desired Qualifications
- Previous point of sale system experience an asset
