Job Summary
Produce technical drawings using SolidWorks to accurately communicate design intent and manufacturing requirements for structural steel and cable support systems. Review drawings, models, and assemblies while supporting engineering projects and product development activities. Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure clear communication of design specifications. This role offers a clear engineering career pathway within a growing ASX listed company, featuring a competitive base plus annual bonus and eligibility for a company share bonus after two years of service.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with mechanical design, modelling or drafting
- Exposure to CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
- An understanding of manufacturing processes and how they are communicated in drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) and/or a mechanical trade background
Desired Qualifications
- Workshop or manufacturing environment experience
