Job Summary
Lead elementary students in enrichment activities and foster youth development within the After School team. Guide kids toward their full potential through wholehearted ministry while serving as a role model in the community. Maintain Monday through Friday schedules from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school year, adhering to the Statement of Faith and completing mandatory background checks and CPR/First Aid certification. Possess a passion for working with children, dependable transportation, and a valid driver's license. Spanish-speaking ability is greatly valued. Join a team mobilizing godly people to provide tangible help and eternal hope to kids and families.
Required Qualifications
- Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
- Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
- Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification
- Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
- Valid driver's license or Valid ID
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- Have dependable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- some post-secondary training highly preferred
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
- Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
