Christian After School Leader

Job Summary
Lead elementary students in enrichment activities and foster youth development within the after school setting. Guide kids in community service programs while modeling wholeheartedness and reaching their full potential. Maintain a Monday through Friday schedule from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school year, averaging 17-20 hours per week. Possess a passion for working with children, valid driver's license, and dependable transportation. Maintain CPR/First Aid certification and pass mandatory background checks. Spanish-speaking ability is greatly valued. As a Minister of the Gospel, mobilize godly people to provide tangible help and eternal hope to families in our community.
Required Qualifications
- Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
- Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification
- Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
- Valid driver's license or Valid ID
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- Have dependable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- some post-secondary training highly preferred
- Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
- Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
