Job Summary
Lead elementary students in enrichment activities and foster youth development within the after school setting. Deliver wholehearted ministry support by modeling behaviors aligned with the Statement of Faith and serving as a role model for students. Maintain Monday through Friday coverage from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year while ensuring mandatory CPR/First Aid certification and passing background checks. Possess a passion for working with children, dependable transportation, and Spanish-speaking ability is greatly valued. Join a team mobilizing godly people to provide tangible help and eternal hope to kids and families in the community.
Required Qualifications
- Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
- Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification
- Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
- Valid driver's license or Valid ID
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- Have dependable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- some post-secondary training highly preferred
- Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
- Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
