Job Summary
Part-time Chocolatier Associate in training to temper chocolate and craft dipped items, bars, and seasonal chocolates. Responsibilities include maintaining high quality and adhering to recipe specifications, ensuring hygiene and safety, presenting finished chocolates per the manual, and collaborating with team to meet production goals. Requires decorating skills, culinary background, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Certifications in culinary or pastry arts are preferred but not required; additional chocolate-making training is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a professional kitchen or decorating role preferred
- Certification in culinary arts, pastry arts, or related field preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene/sanitation best practices
- Effective communication and teamwork with cross-department colleagues
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Additional training or certification in chocolate-making techniques is a plus
