Job Summary

Seating and assisting cardroom players while running chips, helping with promotions, and keeping serving tables clean on the poker room floor. Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to customers while maintaining a friendly, congenial atmosphere. Cooperate with shift managers and floor personnel to address concerns, ensuring guests are welcomed into a clean, safe environment. Perform additional duties as assigned and attend all required meetings and training. This part-time role includes weekends and holidays, with competitive pay including keeping your own tips. New hires must pass a background check and obtain a Minnesota Racing license.

Required Qualifications

  • Reliable, trustworthy, pleasant personality, able to handle pressure and/or difficult situations
  • Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when exchanging cash and casino chips
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Must possess good manual dexterity for accuracy when handling chips and money
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers and guests in fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues within peripheral vision
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds and air quality
  • Must be fluent and literate in English
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a Minnesota Racing license
  • Must be present onsite for this position
