Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one care for Chinese-speaking seniors in their homes, assisting with ambulation, personal hygiene, and physical therapy exercises. Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and accompany clients on doctor's appointments or community outings. Collect medical information from providers and report incidents to nurses, doctors, or family members, while acting quickly during emergencies and maintaining strict infection control standards. Requires Mandarin/Chinese fluency, English proficiency, current CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Flexible schedules available; paid training with certified dementia trainers provided. Required Qualifications
- Mandarin/Chinese-speaking
- fluent in English
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, including those outlined by the CDC in relation to COVID-19
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
