Job Summary
Deliver in-person Chinese Mandarin language instruction in Augusta, GA (Fort Eisenhower area) aligned to the curriculum; develop listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills measured by the DLPT/OPI; tailor instruction to student needs and integrate regional culture; maintain attendance, track progress, and submit weekly reports; ensure a positive learning environment; requires US citizenship and NACI background check; language proficiency requirements include ILR 2+ or ACTFL Advanced-High; DLIFLC-based assessment and certification may be involved. Laptop and materials provided by the employer.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced and knowledgeable in language and cultural education
- Native language capability
- US Citizenship
- Clearance: Must pass a NACI background check
- Target Language Qualifications: ILR level 2+ or ACTFL Advanced-High or higher in Mandarin
- An interview certified by ACTFL
