Job Summary
Assist in the management of daily kitchen operations and preparation/presentation of high-quality Chinese dishes. Supervise and mentor the kitchen team to maintain excellence in food preparation and service. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Assist with menu development, recipe standardization, and cost control. Monitor inventory levels and support purchasing and stock management activities. Proven experience in Chinese cuisine with roles such as Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Senior Chef de Partie; experience as a Private Chef in a residence setting is advantageous. Strong knowledge of Chinese culinary techniques, ingredients, and food presentation; excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Spoken English is an advantage.
