Job Summary
Seasoned China Correspondent sought to cover China's political, economic, and military landscapes for The Wall Street Journal. Identify emerging big-picture themes, break news, provide enterprise and investigative reporting, and analyze data and online discourse to illuminate China's evolving role on the global stage. Craft stories that resonate through tight, clear writing and collaborate with colleagues across Asia, the U.S., and Europe to deliver globe-spanning coverage at the intersection of economics, geopolitics, and business. Build and leverage a strong network of sources in government, business, academia, and policy circles to produce exclusive reporting. Chinese language skills are a plus but not required.
