Job Summary
As a Vice President in JPMorgan Chase's China Chief Data Office, seated as a Data Management Lead in China LIB, you will implement the data management strategy across business lines and corporate functions, ensure adherence to data policies, governance, and standards, lead specific data workstreams (privacy, data protection, data storage, etc.), develop reporting metrics for governance meetings, and execute projects aligned with local regulatory requirements. You will promote a data-centric culture, build partnerships across Legal, Compliance, Technology, Cybersecurity & Tech Risk, Control Management, and Front Office, and engage with local regulatory contacts. The role requires a BA in a related field and 15+ years of experience in data governance, privacy, or data security within global financial institutions, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and Mandarin-English fluency.
Required Qualifications
- B.A. in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields
- 15+ years of experience in data governance, privacy, data security management, operations, technology, or related fields in global and leading financial institutions
- Good understanding of China Financial Markets and data related laws and regulations
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in both written and verbal communications of English and Mandarin Chinese languages
