Job Summary

Richemont China Affairs & Strategy Intern supports the team with research and analysis on macro-economy and consumer markets to provide analytical insights to Richemont Group and its Maisons. Responsibilities include monitoring Chinese domestic and overseas markets for information on Chinese travellers and local Chinese communities, preparing accurate presentation materials, compiling information for ad-hoc topics, and providing operational support to planning, follow-up, and execution of department projects worldwide. The role also involves assisting in identifying and establishing contact with prospective business partners and clients for the Maisons, and maintaining relationships with existing partners and Richemont Maisons. Requirements include a university internship program (convention de stage), 1-2 years in project management/market research/business development, strong knowledge of macro/micro-economy and geopolitics within the luxury industry, excellent analytical and presentation skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, strong interpersonal skills, and fluency in English and Chinese (French a plus).

Required Qualifications

  • Student with convention de stage
  • 1-2 years of work experience in project management/market research/business development
  • Good knowledge of macro-economy and micro-economy and geopolitics, as well as the luxury industry
  • Impeccable analytical skills for editorial and research purposes
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to handle problematic issues and balance multiple interlocutors and projects
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is mandatory
  • Prior experience in luxury sector or high-net-worth audience-facing businesses is a plus
