Job Summary
Install and commission HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical equipment while performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services. Complete service projects from start to finish, ensuring total customer satisfaction through clear communication on and off job sites. Manage inventory and tool procurement for the service vehicle while strictly adhering to safety procedures and policies. Maintain water-cooled chiller systems, including VFD troubleshooting, rebuilds, and startup commissioning, alongside steam boiler maintenance and combustion settings.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Technician (mandatory)
- verifiable experience in service of commercial HVAC & refrigeration systems
- Holds EPA Certification
- Water Cooled Chiller VFD Troubleshooting experience
- Water Cooled Chiller Troubleshooting experience
- Chiller rebuild experience
- Startup & Commissioning experience
- Crane signaling and rigging experience
- Steam boiler/system maintenance, troubleshooting, service including setting combustion experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
- Skills level of Tech IV
- Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles
- Climbing stairs
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
- Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Operating machinery and/or power tools
- Operating motor vehicles
- Low indoor temperature
- High indoor temperature
- Outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind
- Noisy environment
- Medium work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds
- 0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location
