Job Summary
Conduct advanced service, troubleshooting, repair, startup, and commissioning of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, RTUs, and refrigeration equipment. Lead, mentor, and train apprentices and less-experienced technicians while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction across assigned projects. Perform system diagnostics using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications, and coordinate materials and resources by reviewing scopes and evaluating building layouts. Document all work accurately through daily job paperwork and reports, and participate in on-call rotation and overtime as business needs require. Maintain current knowledge of installation methods and service procedures, and provide technical guidance to customers and internal team members.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Commercial Chiller Technician
- Strong boiler service and installation expertise
- Working knowledge of: Chillers
- Working knowledge of: Boilers and burner controls
- Working knowledge of: All Refrigeration systems
- Working knowledge of: RTU installation, commissioning, and service
- Working knowledge of: Split system AC and furnace installation, commissioning, and service
- Proven leadership ability with a positive, team‐oriented approach
- Strong desire and ability to train and develop others
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‐solving skills
- Valid Colorado driver's license with an acceptable MVR
- Current Universal EPA certification
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and physical (job‐related)
