Job Summary
Chiller Service Specialist with senior-level HVAC diagnostic and repair responsibilities, focusing on chillers, large pumps, motors, and variable frequency drives. Performs master-level work diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems across chillers, pneumatics, electric motors, pumps, cooling towers, and related equipment, ensuring work aligns with specifications and established standards. Requires extensive hands-on chiller repair experience, EPA refrigerant recovery certification, and a clean driving record; must pass pre-employment and random drug tests. Strong emphasis on precision, safety, and adherence to district/background screening guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum eight years’ experience in HVAC trade as a service/maintenance technician or equivalent
- Eight years’ experience with automated system controls
- Valid EPA Universal Type Refrigerant Recovery Certificate
- Valid Florida Driver’s license
- Passing initial and random drug tests per Florida Statute 112.0455 and Pasco County Sheriff’s Office background screening requirements
