Childwatch Coordinator -- Hoover YMCA

Supervise children in drop-in childcare rooms, ensuring adherence to required staff-to-child ratios and maintaining safety while following the association lesson plan. Lead and participate in all scheduled activities, remain flexible to changing needs, and resolve parent, child, and staff issues during shifts. Serve as a site supervisor when the Family Life Director is off-site, provide direction to children, and engage professionally with parents at drop-off and pick-up. Maintain an open line of communication with the Family Life Director and report any safety concerns or policy violations immediately. Complete required training programs, attend staff meetings, and ensure cleaning checklists and supplies are maintained.
