Job Summary
Join Esland as a Children’s Residential Support Worker in Ravensden, Bedfordshire. Help care for children in residential settings with therapeutic, EBD and complex trauma support, contribute to care plans and risk assessments, form relationships with young people and families, maintain high professional standards, support education and social development, and meet emotional and physical needs. Role involves shift patterns including sleep-ins, requires a Level 3 Diploma (desirable) or willingness to undertake, and a full UK driving licence. UK-based role with onsite (in-person) work arrangement. Salary in the posting is £34,402 to £35,025 per year (based on hours and qualifications), along with benefits such as enhanced leave, pension, training, and career progression opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (highly desirable) or willingness to undergo this qualification once employed
- Experience in a children's home setting (highly desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
- Satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs)
