Job Summary
Provide nurturing and supportive care for up to two young people in a therapeutic home environment near Newport, managing their domestic needs and socialisation skills. Facilitate educational placements in local schools to support personalised education plans and assist with learning new skills. Organise fun activities and excursions to help young people flourish and grow while building positive, trusting relationships. Promote equal opportunities and challenge discriminatory behaviour in line with Safer Recruitment Practices. This 365-day-a-year role requires a full UK driving licence, right to work, and a therapeutic, person-centred approach.
Required Qualifications
- Full driving licence issued in the UK
- Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
- Aged 21 or above
