Job Summary
The CPST Provider delivers goal-directed supports and solution-focused interventions to SED children/adolescents and families across agency, school, home, and community settings. Requires BA/BS in mental health/human services or equivalent experience, valid Kansas driver’s license, 21+ age, and completion of Case Management Certification as stipulated by the State of Kansas. Must obtain CPI, First Aid and CPR prior to providing services; role reports to the CBS Program Supervisor and involves ongoing collaboration with families and collateral contacts to implement individualized treatment plans.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree with an emphasis in Mental Health/Human Services OR Equivalent experience
- Current and Valid Driver's License
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Employee must successfully complete Case Management Certification as stipulated by the State of Kansas.
- CPST Provider shall possess demonstrated interpersonal skills, ability to work with SED children/adolescents/families and the ability to respond effectively in a wide variety of human service situations
- A BA/BS degree with an emphasis in mental health/human services or equivalently qualified by work experience or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education with one year experience substituting for one year of education
- CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Employee is required to complete appropriate on-line certifications through Training Teams prior to billing of services. Must attend Interactive Community Events (ICE) Training within six months of hire. Required to complete CPI, First Aid and CPR prior to providing a service in KDHE room.
