Job Summary
Provide professional case management services to eligible clients, advocating for clients as they secure services and coordinating all services necessary to meet client needs. The Children’s Case Manager supports children and adolescents, works effectively within an interdisciplinary team, and is expected to travel within their designated area. Requires flexible hours to meet client demand, and travel as needed. Requires at least one year of relevant experience with children who have Serious Emotional Disturbance, and a minimum of 18 years of age. Education must include a 4-year degree in psychology, mental health and related fields, or a related field with relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a closely related field. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year relevant life/work experience working with children with a Serious Emotional Disturbance is required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Intermediate level computer skills
- Education: Has a minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited four-year institution with specialization in psychology, mental health and human services, behavioral health, behavioral sciences, social work, human development, special education, counseling, rehabilitation, sociology, nursing, or closely related field; or a Bachelors Degree in an unrelated field with at least one year of full-time equivalent relevant human services experience; or a Masters Degree in social work, education, psychology, counseling, nursing, or closely related field from an accredited graduate school.
