Job Summary
Provides direct supervision and care for children in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for participants whose guardians attend court proceedings; creates a calm, child-focused space with trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices; offers age-appropriate activities to promote emotional stability and comfort; communicates respectfully with parents/guardians during check-in/check-out; identifies family needs and connects families with community resources and referrals; collaborates with partners to ensure seamless service delivery; maintains attendance logs and documentation; may assist with supervised visitations and participate in cross-training within the Family Visitation Center; on-site schedule supports Monday–Friday daytime hours; contributes to a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment and may participate in outreach events.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma required
- At least one year of experience working with children or in a related human services role required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
