Job Summary
Provide high-quality residential care in a small group home for two young people with learning difficulties, promoting independence and life skills. Build positive, trusting relationships, ensure safety and wellbeing, and support outcomes through a therapeutic, person-centred approach. Roles include delivering care across a 365-day rota with days and sleep nights; work in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, in a fully onsite setting. Requires a UK driving licence, eligibility to work in the UK (21+), and adherence to Safer Recruitment practices. Training and progression opportunities include BILD accredited induction, and a focus on equal opportunities and safeguarding.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- Aged 21 or above
- Successful employment subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure
- Right to work verification and Safer Recruitment practices
- BILD accredited induction training
- Ability to promote independence and life skills in children with learning difficulties
- Ability to build positive relationships and ensure safety and wellbeing of young people
