Job Summary
Conduct science presentations for children ages 4-12 at schools, libraries, camps, and homes, demonstrating activities like rocket launches, laser shows, and slime creation. Deliver programs during lunch (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM) and after-school (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM) sessions Monday through Friday, arriving 15 minutes early for setup and staying for cleanup. Maintain safety and efficiency while managing groups and interacting with parents and principals. This part-time role offers per-session pay starting at $44, including travel compensation, with benefits such as free uniforms and advancement opportunities. Candidates must hold a valid license, own a vehicle, and possess a dynamic personality suited for performing in front of audiences.
Required Qualifications
- An OUTGOING and DYNAMIC personality
- Enjoys performing in front of an audience
- Experience with groups of children ages 4-12
- Valid License & Access to a Vehicle
- A cell phone
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- All employees are required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Screening at time of hiring
Desired Qualifications
- Some experience in theater a plus.
