Job Summary
Coordinate all childcare needs for Sunday celebration gatherings and special events, including the Winter Retreat and Summer Camp Program. Support the core teaching team to instruct children in God's Word weekly and facilitate midweek ministry programs. Manage children's resources, ensure facility safety through background checks and policies, and maintain an annual ministry budget. Communicate ministry status to parents and the congregation while welcoming new children. Function as part of the staff team to implement the vision for discipleship, adhering to a Sabbath day and balancing family life with ministry duties.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a passion for seeing children develop into followers of Jesus
- Strong leader with a solid work ethic and the ability to administer
- Possess strong organizational and administrative skills
- Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage volunteer leaders, children, and their parents
- Demonstrates the dependability and organizational commitment to accomplish job duties
- Establish a Sabbath day and be held accountable to it
- Maintain a healthy balance between family life, ministry and other responsibilities
