Job Summary
Design and implement Individual Service Plans and daily activities to facilitate individual learning experiences consistent with participant objectives. Produce completed daily lesson plans one week in advance covering art, music, literature, science, and mathematics. Provide personal care including feeding, grooming, and toileting while ensuring participants are supervised at all times. Assist in assessments, planning, and evaluation processes, attending POC/ISP meetings to track goal progress. Advise leadership on behavioral irregularities and report evidence of abuse or neglect immediately. Maintain all documentation, participant records, and facility cleanliness while adhering to licensing standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, equivalent, or higher degree
- 1 year of related experience
- Successful criminal background check clearance (local and fingerprint)
- Good Interpersonal skills with children and adults
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
- Ability to interpret and carry out written or oral instructions
- Ability to tolerate an outdoor work environment inclusive of a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to receive a rating of 20 (meets expectation) or higher on all performance reviews
