Job Summary
Responds to crisis events through mobile outreach, conducts client interviews, assessments, and crisis interventions; develops individual crisis plans and coordinates in-home follow-up; maintains on-call availability and responds to crisis outreach within one hour; performs 24-hour hotline coverage and works in a team-based environment; supports growth and development knowledge applicable to the consumer population served; capable of assessing data to identify and address the consumer’s needs including age-related care; some weekend and evening hours; part of Legacy’s State-designated Children’s Mobile Response and Stabilization program serving Burlington County; duties include crisis diffusion on-site for up to 72 hours, coordinating in-home follow-up for up to eight weeks, and providing continuous crisis support 24/7/365; benefits include PTO, health/vision/dental insurance, 403(b) with employer match, holidays, tuition reimbursement after 1 year, retention bonus, and ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social service field or Bachelor’s degree in a social services field plus one year of experience in field work with children
- ability to become certified in Crisis Assessment Tool within six months
- proficiency with office technology including scanning, typing, faxing, email, scheduling
