Job Summary
Assists in direct patient care by providing basic physical care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including activities of daily living, vital signs, specimen transport, glucose monitoring and basic tests, phlebotomy within policy, oxygen setup and respiratory support, and facilitating examinations and procedures. Supports unit operations, maintains a safe environment, and communicates patient needs to the nursing team to promote family-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in Basic Life Support or HeartSaver First Aid within 30 days of hire
