Children’s Emergency Services Caseworker

Perform professional social work in child protection, children's services, and adoption by engaging families to assess safety and create plans meeting their needs. Develop investigative and case management skills while building contacts within judicial, law enforcement, and social services communities. Create team-based solutions involving family, staff, and community resources to ensure child safety. Make factually supported safety decisions with input from parents, children, and stakeholders. Separate dangerous caregivers from children when court action is required. Maintain accurate case records and follow federal, state laws, and mandates to achieve safety, well-being, and permanency. Work Sunday through Saturday with frequent overtime, emergency standby coverage, and regular travel.
