Job Summary
Teach hands-on cooking classes for ages 4+ and lead field trips, homeschool programs, birthday parties, and workshops using the Young Chefs Academy curriculum. Manage classroom flow to keep students engaged and safe while guiding them in developing real culinary and life skills. Assist instructors during sessions, help students follow recipes safely, prep ingredients, and maintain kitchen organization. Foster a positive, supportive learning environment for children. Flexible part-time scheduling available for weekday after-school, weekend, and seasonal camp shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Age 16+ (Assistants)
- 21+ preferred for Lead Instructors

- A genuine love for working with children
- Positive energy, warmth, and patience
- Leadership skills and confidence (for Lead Instructors)
- Reliable, responsible, and good communication skills
- Interest in cooking — no professional culinary background required
- Experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring kids is a bonus
- CPR/First Aid welcome (reimbursed after hire if needed)
