Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic assessments, formulate treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapy in the child's natural environment or via telehealth. Manage crisis interventions for acute symptom exacerbations while ensuring client safety within the home or community. Complete eligibility determinations for state-funded services and maintain timely documentation of all delivered services. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members, natural supports, and external providers to implement a wrap-around family systems approach. Serve on internal and external committees as determined by the supervisor. Perform all duties in accordance with agency policies and federal/state standards while representing the organization professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- LISCW, LCMHC or LMFT
- Previous experience providing family therapy and working within a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment in routine, urgent, and emergent clinical situations
- Ability to actively engage with children and conduct interactive play within a therapeutic setting
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with all Microsoft office applications
- Ability to document effectively and efficiently in course of clinical work
- Ability to navigate an electronic health record
- Ability and desire to work as part of a clinical team while also able to be self-directed and motivated with minimal supervision
- Ability to acquire and effectively practice new clinical skills as needed according to evolving agency needs/services
