Job Summary
Teach art to children ages 18 months to 12 years in after-school programs and camps. Part-time role with 10-20 hours weekly, with additional hours during no-school days and summer months. Responsibilities include guiding art activities (paint, clay, slime, glitter), preparing and providing lesson plans and supplies, maintaining a positive, energetic classroom, and promoting a messy, creative environment. Must be enthusiastic, reliable, creative, and comfortable working with kids; mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling available. Located at Kidcreate Studio in Gaithersburg, MD, with opportunities for full-time advancement from within. Paid training provided; studios offer discounts and promotional opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- ability to interact with students in art classes and camps
- reliable transportation (car)
- availability 2-6pm after school, three or more days a week; mornings/evenings/weekends also possible
