Job Summary
Teach structured art lessons that develop skills progressively over time for children of various ages and skill levels. Demonstrate drawing, painting, and other art techniques while breaking complex skills into clear, age-appropriate steps. Provide constructive, encouraging feedback and manage classroom behavior to create a positive learning environment. Submit a 5-10 piece art portfolio or website link with your application. Work 10-25 hours a week with a flexible schedule, receiving paid training and mileage reimbursement. All lesson plans and art supplies are provided, requiring no development or lesson planning.
Required Qualifications
- strong foundation in art (drawing, painting, color theory)
- ability to submit a 5-10 piece art portfolio or website link with their application
- experience managing a classroom
