Job Summary
Manage clinical enquiries from healthcare professionals and guardians, providing evidence-based advice on medication management and treatment options. Review and triage medication requests to ensure clinical safety, escalating complex cases through multidisciplinary teams. Issue ongoing prescriptions for children and young people, monitor physical health questionnaires, and coordinate shared care requests with GPs. Liaise with wider health professionals to support holistic care and document all clinical information within electronic health records. This role sits within the Clinical Care Hub, focusing on structured time blocks to deliver consistent, high-quality ADHD treatment for under 18s. You will contribute to refining clinical pathways and supporting new service initiatives as the team scales.
Required Qualifications
- MPHARM degree
- Registration with General Pharmaceutical Council
- MBBS/MBChB degree
- Registration with GMC
- Qualified Nurse Prescriber registered with the NMC
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CYP settings
- Minimum of 1 year prescribing for CYP ADHD
- NMC-approved Independent Prescribing qualification (V300)
- Strong knowledge of ADHD medications and treatment protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy management systems
- Strong digital proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in working with people with ADHD in primary, secondary or specialist private services
- Evidence of ADHD CPD and ADHD diagnostics
- Experience of remote clinical delivery
