Job Summary
To establish and supervise a safe and nurturing setting in which children can flourish academically and emotionally. Cultivate positive relationships and transparent communication to assist each child's distinct needs, aiding with academic tasks, arranging stimulating activities, and fostering social abilities. Curriculum & Instruction includes coordinating age-appropriate activities, keeping the classroom orderly, displaying educational materials, and utilizing resources effectively. Classroom Management involves working cooperatively with guardians, guiding harmonious interactions, monitoring safety, and modeling responsible citizenship. Student Enrollment & Retention includes marketing the Academy in the community. Professional Development & Leadership covers policy development and professional ethics. Facilities include maintaining orderliness of the learning environment and safe use of facilities and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit
- Must meet all requirements established by the DLARA’s BCHS
- Ability to walk, lift up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, reach and kneel
- Ability to communicate with students, staff and guardians in a professional manner
- Exemplary work habits verified by reference check
