Job Summary
Childcare Teacher at The Sunshine House. Responsibilities include creating a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment; designing engaging classroom activities; supporting children's social and emotional development; fostering a love of learning; and building partnerships with families through daily updates and conversations. Requires passion for working with young children, 18+ years old, and proof of high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in licensed childcare is preferred; CDA/ECD training encouraged. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and pass background checks and health assessments. Part of a benefits-rich program with opportunities for growth and education funding.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background checks & health assessments
- Previous experience working in licensed childcare facility
- ECD 101 or CDA preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
