Job Summary
Infant and Toddler classroom Teacher responsible for care and learning of children, following the curriculum and developing lesson plans for the group, managing day-to-day classroom operations in a full-time, day-shift role at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA. Responsibilities include initiating and providing age-appropriate activities across various age groups, ensuring a positive learning environment, maintaining safety and compliance with certifications (BLS, Food Handlers, etc.), and supporting family-oriented care in a hospital-affiliated setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Level Degree Required
- Certification/Licensure
- Driver's License - (Required)
- Clean DMV Record (Required)
- Food Handlers Card - Certification - Food Service Certification w/in 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
- RQI w/in 30 days of hire
- Experience 2 years Childcare (Required)
- Must be able to drive a 14-person van (Required)
