Job Summary
Plan, develop, and implement weekly lesson plans tailored to children's needs, interests, and developmental levels while ensuring their social, physical, spiritual, and mental development. Maintain appropriate adult/child ratios, document attendance, transitions, and incidents, and conduct parent/teacher conferences in accordance with Center guidelines. Manage classroom supplies, disinfect toys per state regulations, and monitor cleanliness while adhering to Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) guidelines. Transport up to 14 children safely, attend scheduled staff meetings and in-service trainings, and complete required screenings and assessments for the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Fill in other classrooms when needed and work summer months for Day Camp.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess high school diploma or GED
- Possess the ability and appropriate safe driving record to drive a vehicle, safely transporting up to 14 children
- Required to work summer months/Day Camp
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university
- Six months experience working in early childhood field
