Job Summary
Join New Horizon Academy as a Childcare Teacher in our toddler classrooms, where you will inspire and celebrate a child's love of learning daily. This full-time position requires applicants to have a minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or a CDA to meet the teacher qualifications under MN Rule 3. The ideal candidate should possess a positive work ethic, a team-centered attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow. While previous childcare experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Key responsibilities include effectively communicating and engaging with children, families, and staff, along with understanding the state's licensing regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or a CDA to be considered teacher-qualified under MN Rule 3
- Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, Monday-Friday
- Positive work ethic and team-centered attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow as an educator
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
- Ability to understand state licensing regulations and company policies
- Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines
- Must satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations
- Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States
