Job Summary
New Horizon Academy is seeking a Childcare Teacher to join our Elkhorn, NE team. Teachers will support early childhood learning, manage a classroom, and collaborate with a caring team to foster social and emotional development in young children. Responsibilities include meeting Nebraska licensing requirements, delivering age-appropriate instruction, maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment, communicating with families, and engaging in ongoing professional development. The role requires experience in ECE and classroom management, strong teamwork, and a willingness to grow as an educator. Full-time schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6:00pm; benefits include health insurance, 401K with company match, paid time off, professional development, and discounted childcare.
Required Qualifications
- Meets Nebraska state licensing requirements for teacher qualification
- Experience in early childhood education (ECE) and classroom management
- Able to work a full-time schedule Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:00pm
- Documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
- Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position
