Job Summary
Provide routine care for infants and children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, including diapering and personal cares, meals and snacks, and hygiene support. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, supervise to meet staff/child ratios, and perform accurate attendance and timely health reporting. Deliver play-based activities to support development, collaborate with families, document required information accurately, and participate in training and professional development. Demonstrate reliability by arriving on time and following PBIS strategies to support a positive environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to obtain First Aid, CPR, Mandatory Reporter, Standard Precautions, and DHS Pre-Service Essential Training certifications within 90 days of hire
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical activities (bending, lifting, reaching, standing)
- Effective communication in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Experience providing care and supervision for children preferred
