Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion. Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model for children. Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies. Certain positions may also perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing. Work split shifts in the mornings (7:00–9:00 am) or afternoons (3:15–6:30 pm) at Montague Township Elementary School.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks
- Requires the ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Requires the ability to actively engage with energetic children
- The ideal candidate demonstrates a positive, professional demeanor
- The ideal candidate demonstrates strong interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and colleagues
- The ideal candidate demonstrates a consistent record of reliability and punctuality
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of childcare experience
