Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group sessions, while supervising homework completion. Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment by acting as a positive role model for children and observing state guidelines and school policies. Manage attendance records, registration, and staffing as needed. Work split shifts in the morning (6:45–8:30 am) or afternoon (2:45–5:45 pm) at Quinton Township Elementary School. Earn $16.00 per hour as a part-time, non-exempt employee. Employer-paid childcare is available for enrolled children during work hours.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks
- Requires the ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Requires the ability to actively engage with energetic children
- The ideal candidate demonstrates a positive, professional demeanor
- The ideal candidate demonstrates strong interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and colleagues
- The ideal candidate demonstrates a consistent record of reliability and punctuality
