Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, art) and provide homework assistance for school-age children (ages 5–12) in the Before and After School Program. Maintain a safe, healthy, clean, and engaging environment while acting as a positive role model. Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App. May perform management tasks such as attendance, registration, and staffing. Hours are 7:00-8:15 am and 3:05-6:00 pm at Port Allegany Elementary School. Requires 18+ and HS diploma or equivalent; 1 year of relevant experience preferred; physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.)
