Job Summary
Part-time Childcare Staff for Before & After School and Summer programs at Island Village Elementary School. Responsibilities include ensuring program compliance with state regulations and host-school requirements, planning and leading engaging activities across fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support, overseeing daily attendance and registration, coordinating staffing, and maintaining clear family communication via the Playground App. Collaborate with the direct supervisor to maintain high-quality care, positive staff morale, and proactive problem-solving. Requires 18+ years old and a High School Diploma or equivalent; physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.; the role is part-time with morning and afternoon hours at Island Village Elementary School in Kissimmee, FL. Employer-paid childcare and additional benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Must be warm, friendly, upbeat with exceptional people skills
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift up to 50 lbs.
