Childcare Staff – After School

Part-time Childcare Program Staff for the Healthy Kids Programs After School at Grimshaw Elementary School in LaFayette, NY. Responsibilities include facilitating hands-on activities from the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities) and homework completion; providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment and serving as a positive role model; daily communication with parents via the Playground App; observing state guidelines and host school policies; and potential management tasks such as accurate attendance, registration, and staffing. Must be at least 18 with a HS diploma, preferably 1 year of experience with kids under 13, and able to pass medical clearance (including TB). Candidates should be warm, friendly, professional, reliable, and prompt, and physically able to bend, stretch, lift up to 50 lbs. Hours are 2:15–6:00 pm; pay is $16.00–$17.50 per hour.
