Job Summary
Conduct daily activities and instruct children in health, personal, and recreational tasks following the prescribed curriculum. Observe and monitor play activities while organizing toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas. Read to children, teach simple arts and crafts, and serve beverages and snacks to regulate rest periods. Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems and report them to parents or guardians. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills when interacting with co-workers, children, and diverse families. Requires current CPR and First Aid certificates, one year of childcare experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems. Full-time onsite role with a salary of $21.97-$24.72 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the provision of child care services or preschool setting
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificates
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate children's activities
- Ability to demonstrate good interpersonal skills to interact with co-workers, children, parents, etc.
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
